Thinking about Proposition 8

I am really heartbroken. My state let me down. My county let me down.

Yes, I am taking it all personally. It is personal to me every time one person denies another a basic human right to live more easily in this difficult world.

I came across this commentary and felt that the author expressed my feelings perfectly. If you are one who DID vote for Proposition 8, I hope you will take 6 1/2 minutes to listen to this:
