Ron Brickman specializes in sophisticated, original arrangements of jazz standards by the great jazz pianists of the 1930s to 1950’s: Gershwin, Fats Waller, Elliot Gardiner, Ellington, etc. Ron grew up in West Point and has been playing before the public since the age of eight. Equally at home in both classical and popular music Ron is a superb technician and is noted for the musicality of his interpretations. As President of the Mother Lode Friends of Music, he performs regularly in our area as a recitalist, accompanist, chamber musician and soloist with orchestra.
