Flossie Sabatini, 1914-2008

The community of Mokelumne Hill is in mourning at the news that our own Flossie Sabatini passed away Thursday morning, October 30.

A Rosary will be held November 3 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Mokelumne Hill. Funeral Mass will be November 4 at 10 a.m., also at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, with burial following mass at the Catholic Cemetery in Jackson. Reception to follow mass and burial at the Mokelumne Hill Town Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.

How many Mokelumne Hill children learned sports (and developed extremely strong legs) by playing on Sabatinis' Hill? I'm glad we kept our home movies.
Flossie was a wonderful person to know and a great friend to all.
