As a free service to our patrons the Mokelumne Hill Library provides free wireless internet access. Simply stop in the library or call us for the password. Access is available 24/7 and seems to work fine from our porch and the park. We can be reached at 286-0507. Our hours are Tuesday through Thursday 1:30 - 6:00 pm and Friday 9 - 1:30 pm.
There are two remaining District 2 Candidates Nights. They offer an opportunity to hear all the candidates and compare their views. In addition to hearing them speak, you can submit questions. This is a great opportunity to prepare for the election.

Calaveras County Board of Supervisors is now accepting applications for the Mokelumne Hill Design Review Committee. The committee will be comprised of five members appointed by the Board of Supervisors . Completed applications must be returned to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors by 5:00 PM, May 17, 2012.
Copies of the papers of Simon Foorman, an early and important entrepreneur of Mokelumne Hill, were recently donated to the Mokelumne Hill History Society Archives through the generosity of his great-great-grand daughter, Dede Meyer.
Thanks to all the hard work by Chris Wright, The Foothill Conservancy and the many people who attended meetings and spoke up for our rights to the Mokelumne River, the EBMUD board voted 7-0 to drop Pardee Expansion from their revised water plan.

The Mokelumne Hill Friends of the Library are having a sale on their already reasonably priced used books. All books, videos and music on the front porch are currently priced at $1 per bag. If the Library is closed please place your money in the book return box. Monies from our book sale help with many extras here at our Library. Thank you for your support!
A sweet, lost, black-and-white border collie has been found near Easy Bird Lane. His blue collar has no tags, he is fixed, and about 1-2 years old. If you know him, please call John Tirapelle at 286-1681.
