The Mokelumne Hill Community Historical Trust
PO Box 375, Mokelumne Hill, CA 95245
The purpose of the Mokelumne Hill Community Historical Trust (Trust) is to benefit the people of the Mokelumne Hill community. In an effort to preserve the town’s rich historic heritage for future generations, our activities include, but are not limited to, providing for the acquisition, improvement, and maintenance of public parks, playgrounds, and buildings; and preservation of the town’s rich historic heritage for future generations. Giving to the Trust The Trust offers an opportunity for residents and friends of the Mokelumne Hill community to improve their quality of life and preserve the town’s unique heritage. If a project benefits the people of Mokelumne Hill, the Trust is interested in helping. All of the money the Trust receives is used to help fund community projects. The Trust is chartered as a Non-profit Charitable California Corporation (IRS Exempt Status under Sec. 501c3.)
As this is the only letter the Trust sends out asking for support from the community, we hope you will respond with whatever contribution you are comfortable making. The Trust is legally empowered to accept gifts of money and property. A gift of cash is the simplest method of making a charitable contribution.
Many direct and deferred opportunities for giving are also available that offer the maximum tax deduction permitted by law. Donors who contribute long term appreciated annuities, and/or real estate may receive an income benefit. Gifts of appreciated works of art, antiques, or other tangible personal property may enjoy a charitable tax deduction. A gift of an insurance policy is a thoughtful act of appreciation for the many years of residence one has enjoyed in the community. Such gifts can be left to the Trust for general use or you may direct their application to specific projects.
It is recommended that your accountant, attorney, and/or your family members be contacted to determine the type of gift most beneficial to your financial position and welfare. Trust Programs/Activities
