Valley Springs will not get a long-anticipated community college campus
any time soon.

San Joaquin Delta Community College District officials this week
confirmed plans to acquire 60 acres of land along Paloma Road, between
Campo Seco Road and Highway 12, have been called off — citing snags in

Cal Fire will introduce a proposed update to the fire hazard severity
zone map for state responsibility lands in Calaveras County from 3 to 5
p.m. Monday, June 25, at the Cal Works building, Sequoia Room, 509 E.

college classroom will be the setting for practicing yoga, writing
