Our public trails on BLM land near Glencoe are being blocked and
vandalized. The community is banding together this Saturday, Jan. 28,
10 am at the Glencoe American Legion, to take back our trails. Bring
lunch, water, work clothes, a sturdy friend, clippers, saws (chainsaws
those who can handle them), shovels and Great Spirit-- join us this
The annual Mokelumne Hill Fireman's Ball will be held on Saturday, February 11th at the Mokelumne Hill Town Hall on Main Street. As always, we will have our legendary Silent Auction, no host bar, and live music featuring the Full Circle Band. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 per person or $15 per couple. The event starts at 6:30 PM, and the band will start playing at 8:00 PM.

We will focus on coordinating breath with a series of full body yoga postures.
Bring a yoga mat, a block if you have one, a towel or blanket that you can fold and sit on and an open mind.

The Mokelumne Hill Lions Club will be holding its annual Enchilada Dinner at Moke Hill Town Hall (across from the Leger Hotel) on Saturday, January 28th. Social hour is at 5:30 and dinner is at 6:30. Adult tickets are $15.00; children 12 and under are $7.50. Tickets are available from most Lions Club members, Mokelumne Hill Nuts and the Moke Hill Library. Advance tickets are preferred.

In the morning of Saturday, February 4, you can take a drawing class with Dale Laitinen and in the afternoon, watch oil painter Michael Severin create magic on his canvases. It’s a double whammy day of art experiences presented by Petroglyphe Gallery in Mokelumne Hill.
