Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the whole school, the second annual Gopher-a-walkathon was a huge success! The event brought in over $4,000 - enough to pay for this year's field trips, art instuction in the classroom, and new playground equipment. Second grader, Olivia Long, won the $50 Walmart gift card for bringing in the most money - $219!

Attached is the FINAL Draft of the Mokelumne Hill Community Plan. On Monday, Novemeber 24th a Town Hall Meeting will be held to discuss the FINAL Draft. All are encouraged to attend this meeting which will be held from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Mokelumne Hill Town Hall. A copy of the FINAL Draft is also available for review at the Mokelumne Hill Library.

Film Festival Continues Through the Season. Patagonia returns with an
exciting new program. Films this year will be screened on four evenings at

WEST POINT - A judge has ruled in favor of a small Calaveras County
fire district whose revenues from a voter-approved tax assessment
have been tied up for more than a year by a lawsuit, forcing dramatic
cuts in department staffing and service.

Visitors will be able to choose from amongst many wonderful gift items, as well as browse our antiques, and new and used books.

Mokelumne Hill Nuts is finally getting their wish and opening a store in Mokelumne Hill. The location is 8299 Main Street right across from the Hotel Leger.
Our target opening is November 22nd, but we are going to be down there working before then so stop by and say, 'Hi'.
We will have some other items for sale from other local businesses and artists as well.
